This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit www.brikoneo.fr (the “Site”) or make a purchase there.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  COOKIES

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We have listed them here so that you can choose whether you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

_session_id, unique sessional token, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).

_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider's internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.

_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Calculates the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.

cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about your shopping cart.

_secure_session_id, unique session identifier

storefront_digest, unique token, undefined If the store has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

  - “Log files” track activity on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

    - “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files that record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you make or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information about you, including

your shipping address,

your payment information (including your credit card numbers)

- Credit card number (possibility of paying in three installments without charge)

- PayPal card number

- Your email address

When we use the term “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Generally, we use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including to process your payment information, arrange for shipping of your order, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

The personal data collected on the Brikoneo.fr website are as follows:

Account opening

When creating the Client/user account:

Names, first names, postal address, telephone number and email address.

Payment

As part of the payment for Products offered on the Brikoneo.fr site, it records financial data relating to the bank account or credit card of the Customer/user.

Recipients of personal data

Personal data is used by the Seller and its co-contractors for the execution of the contract and to ensure the effectiveness of the sale and delivery of the Products.

The category(ies) of co-contractor(s) is (are):

  • Transport providers
  • Payment institution providers

Data controller

The data controller is the Seller, within the meaning of the Data Protection Act and, as of May 25, 2018, Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.

limitation of processing

Unless the Customer expressly agrees, his/her personal data is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data retention period

The Seller will keep the data thus collected for a period of 5 years, covering the limitation period of the applicable contractual civil liability.

Security and Privacy

The Seller implements organizational, technical, software and physical digital security measures to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and the Seller cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information on the Internet.

Implementation of Customer and User Rights

In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, Customers and users of the Brikoneo.fr site have the following rights:

  • They can update or delete data concerning them in the following ways:

Sending an email to the company's Contact address.

  • They can delete their account by writing to the email address indicated in article 9.3 “Data controller”
  • They can exercise their right of access to know the personal data concerning them by writing to the address indicated in article 9.3 “Data controller”
  • If the personal data held by the Seller is inaccurate, they may request that the information be updated by writing to the address indicated in Article 9.3 “Data Controller”
  • They may request the deletion of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, by writing to the address indicated in Article 9.3 “Data Controller”
  • They may also request the portability of data held by the Seller to another service provider.
  • Finally, they can object to the processing of their data by the Seller.

These rights, provided that they do not conflict with the purpose of the processing, may be exercised by sending a request by post or e-mail to the Data Controller whose contact details are given above.

The data controller must provide a response within a maximum of one month.

In the event of refusal to comply with the Client's request, reasons must be given.

The Customer is informed that in the event of refusal, he/she may file a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 PARIS) or contact a judicial authority.

The Customer may be asked to check a box to agree to receive informative and advertising emails from the Seller. The Customer will always have the option to withdraw their consent at any time by contacting the Seller (contact details above) or by following the unsubscribe link.

Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we detect a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us using the contact information set out below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, please note that we process your information in order to fulfill our contractual obligations to you (for example if you place an order through the Site) or to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Please also note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

The Site does not impose any age restrictions on users.

CHANGES

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
